What is p/use?

p/use is the next step in evolution for the cost-efficient operation in an IT-client environment inside your enterprise which improves service and flexibility.
At existing management desktop service solutions, the IT-workspace (the hardware) was the center of attention. The new central idea behind p/use is easy as simple: Focus on the end-user himself.

To implement this concept, p/use defines a logical abstraction layer between hardware and operating system and allows the user to take the familiar workspace with him when changing the physical  device.

With the p/use service framework we operate every aspect based on our years of experience, starting with the pilot phase over the migration and operation of the managed desktop service.

p/use mobile, p/use station + p/use token

The core of every instance is p/use mobile, which can be personalized after the initial configuration and can then only be used by that user.

If the user wants to work on a specific physical device for an extended period of time, there is the possibility to deploy a p/use mobile2station to profit from higher speed from internal drives (if there is enough storage capacity available).

After provision of the p/use station, it can't be used without the p/use mobile stick. The personal stick serves as p/use token to unlock the contents of the p/use station.
What objectives can you meet with p/use

  • cost reduction + cost transparence
  • measurability of the service quality
  • improved service and satisfaction-level
  • increased mobility
  • flexibility
  • polished security concept
